WHAT IS SERA?
We are a large group of committed Eldorado area residents forming an ecological partnership with our environment by conserving natural resources and inspiring action to ensure a sustainable and resilient future for our community.
CURRENT SERA PROJECTS
SERA RECYCLES

We provide current and accurate information on area recycling opportunities, develop new recycling options, and promote waste reduction. Some recent activities include:
• Publication of Recyclopedia Tips #1 - #6 (available on the SERA website)
• Collection of beverage containers and No. 5 plastics at public events and area malls
• Field trips to regional recycling and composting facilities
• Promotion of backyard composting
• Awards to outstanding local recycling and composting individuals and businesses
GREEN CAFÉ

An opportunity for discussion on various issues of sustainability. Topics vary by month with meetings every other month on Sunday mornings with breakfast buffet at La Plancha and meetings at the Performance Space.
ELDORADO WATERWRIGHTS

Eldorado Waterwrights has three programs:
• Waterwright Heroes: Interviews with Eldorado area residents who tell their stories of how they are water wise users.
• Waterwright Audits: Offering free home water audits to Eldorado area residents.
• Waterwright Actions: Showing Eldorado residents how their water usage compares to the rest of the world.
